Which direction should my Bates Stirrup Leathers face?

Developed with your comfort and safety in mind Bates Stirrup Leathers are extremely supple with a beautiful European leather outer to complement your saddle and strong webbing core to ensure they will not stretch and cause unevenness. When fitting your Bates stirrup leathers to your saddle, if they feature a rolled edge we recommend that the rolled leather edge faces towards the rear/back of your saddle to maximise performance and minimise wear and tear.
